How is it different from ours?


Assignment 1:

  • Click here to print a Venn diagram.
  • Then view the website 'A Virtual Trip to Korea' at the right. While you view the site, record differences and similarities between Korean culture and your own culture on your Venn diagram.
  • Make a poster that persuades people to visit South Korea. (Make sure your poster is completely colored.)

Assignment 2:

  • Develop a schedule for a "typical" weekday and weekend, in your life. Your schedule begins with the time you wake up in the morning and ends with the time you go to bed at night. Click here to print the two blank schedule sheets for you to fill in.
  • Develop a "typical" school schedule for students at your school. You should be as accurate as possible, indicating specific amounts of time in class, subjects, time for recesses, lunch, and so on. Click here to print a blank schedule sheet for you to fill in.

  • Then view the schedules linked at the right.
  • Write at least three paragraphs comparing and contrasting your schedules to the schedules of Korean students.
  • Turn in your compare and contrast essay to your teacher.
